Crown Investments Corporation (CIC) Aboriginal Bursaries for Lakeland Courses
Are you an Aboriginal student (Indian, Metis or Inuit) enrolling in Business or Office Administration? We encourage to to apply for the CIC Aboriginal Bursary for Fall 2010. Each of the 20 bursaries offers $5000.

To be eligible to receive an Entrance Bursary, students must:

  • Apply;
  • Be of self-declared aboriginal ancestry (Aboriginal ancestry includes Indian, Inuit, and Metis peoples of Canada);
  • Be admitted and enrolled full-time in the first year of a Lakeland College program, 20 weeks or more in length, offered on-campus, through distance, delivery, or a combination of on-campus and distance delivery. This award is not currently available with respect to Lakeland College programs brokered to other institutions.
  • Have been a resident of Saskatchewan during the past 12 months;

In accordance with the admission requirements for the program in which they are enrolled, have completed their last high school grade with a minimum 70% average using the following classes:

  • English Language Arts A30
  • English Language Arts B30
  • Social Studies 30, or History 30, or Native Studies 30
  • Highest grade in a 20 or 30 level Math
  • Highest grade in a 20 or 30 level Science
