Your eInstructor Kevin Leusink Kevin grew up on a farm just outside of Coaldale, Alberta, a town two and a half hours south of Calgary, and currently lives in Lethbridge with his wife, Lindsey. He attended the University of Lethbridge, where he completed his Management Degree. In his spare time, he enjoys playing sports, reading, camping, helping out on the farm, and playing guitar. Kevin is currently also an eInstructor for Credenda’s Business Administration Certificate program. |

Program Overview
Credenda Virtual College is offering the Office Administration Certificate Program via the internet with live interactive lessons so you can stay in your community. The certificate program is comprised of 11 courses and 1 practicum. The classes will take place evenings or weekends so you can continue working. Approximate time to complete the program is 2 years.
You will need a computer with high speed internet and a headset with microphone.

Please note, CU 158 Essentials of Windows, Internet & Outlook has been merged with other courses. For eStudents who started before May 2010, Office Procedure II is going to be offered at the same time as Office Procedures I and Keyboarding II will be offered with Keyboarding I. Regardless of start date, all eStudents will take Data Processing together. If required, eStudents will then do Business English, and then Accounting I.

Understand and apply the basic principles of grammar and develop the ability to edit written material.

An introductory course in accounting with emphasis on basic bookkeeping for both service and merchandising businesses. The complete accounting cycle is studied including originating entries, posting, financial statement preparation, adjusting entries and closing entries.

OA 155 Office Procedures I
An introduction to the world of business where you'll gain practical experience in a typical office environment and perform routine duties common to the majority of all office positions.

Develop keyboarding and word processing skills using Microsoft Office.

Prepares office administration student to use electronic spreadsheets in today’s offices.

AC 229 Office Accounting II
(Computerized Accounting using Simply Accounting) A second level course for you not specializing in accounting theories, processes and procedures. Expands on basic principles and delves into more specialized techniques in accounting for profit and control. A computerized accounting system is introduced and used exclusively for data entry and financial statement preparation.
