Calculus 30
Calculus provides the understanding of limits, derivatives, integrals, and infinite series necessary for many science and engineering applications. After some background essentials, Calculus 30 covers functions, limits and continuity, differentiation, graphical applications of the the derivative, derivative applications, differentiating transcendental functions, integration, and area and the indefinite integral.
Chemistry 30
After a review of the basic principles, Chemistry 30 includes solubility and solutions, energy changes in chemical reactions, reaction kinetics, equilibrium, acid-base equilibrium, and oxidation and reduction.
English A30
English language Arts A30 (ELA A30) is organized around themes that focus on Canadian literature and society.
English B30
English Language Arts B30 (ELA B30) is an issue-oriented course that is organized around human concerns in a global society. English Language Arts B30 examines global perspectives using traditional and contemporary world literature in a comparative manner.

Topics addressed include foundations of Canada’s legal system, criminal and civil law, family law, employment and labour law, contract and consumer law, environmental law and international law
Math A30
Math A30 focuses on the following concepts: Permutations and Combinations, Data Analysis, Polynomials and Rational Expressions, Exponents and Radicals, Relations and Functions, Systems of Linear Equations, and Angles and Polygons.
Math B30
Math B30 focuses on the following concepts: Probability, Data Analysis, Matrices, Complex Numbers, Quadratic Equations, Polynomial and Rational Functions, and Exponential and Logarithmic Functions.
Math C30
Math C30 focuses on the following concepts: Mathematical Proof, Conic Sections, Circular Functions, Applications of Trigonometry, Trigonometric Identities, and Trigonometric Equations.
Native Studies 30
The aim of Native Studies is to develop personal awareness and cultural understanding, and to promote the development of positive attitudes in all students towards Indigenous peoples.
Physics 30
The study of physics will enable students to understand important aspects about the world in which they live, and make rational choices within a social, technological, and environmental context.

Biology 20
Bio 20 is a course for concentrators and non-concentrators in biology. It is based on the assumption that science is an important part of human culture, and that cultural literacy includes a broad knowledge of human thought and analysis, including the natural sciences. Bio 20 is intended to introduce students to some of the most important aspects of current biological theory, methodology, and research.
Chemistry 20
Through the study of Chemistry students are given the opportunity to explore and understand the natural world. The Chemistry 20 program allows students to become aware of the profound influence that chemistry has in their lives. Chemistry is marked by its inquiry characteristics which require creativity and imagination – as such students are encouraged to ask questions and follow personal lines of inquiry.
English Language Arts 20
English Language Arts 20 (ELA 20) is organized around themes that are of interest to adolescents and that focus on self, society, and what it means to be human. In this course, language processes are integrated. Also, language provides the foundation for all learning, including the study of literature and other forms of communication. Students use language to learn, think, and communicate effectively, and to understand the functions and forms of language.
Info Processing 20
Info Processing 20 continues from Info Processing 10. The aim of Information Processing is to provide students with the basic skills to process information in four broad areas: keyboarding, computer applications, communications, and management of information. In this course students will complete modules on word processing, spreadsheets, and hypermedia tools.
Journalism 20
Journalism Studies 20 is concerned with the role of journalism in a democracy and with helping students grow in their language skills--particularly writing. The course will help students learn to gather, write, edit, publish, and produce news and other information for print and electronic media. In this course, students will also become knowledgeable about journalism and learn to organize their time, meet deadlines, think objectively, develop original styles, and gain experience in communicating clearly and effectively.
Math 20
Math 20 focuses on the following concepts: Data Analysis, Relations and Functions, Variables and Equations, Finance, Measurements, and Circles.
Media Studies 20
This course encourages students to expand their repertoire of language skills and strategies through the study of media communication. It assists students in dealing critically with the media in their lives. While media literacy is an important dimension of all English language arts curricula, this course gives students an opportunity to explore mass media and their effects on society in more depth.
